Lyra Kitsch was a neuroscientist who helped established the original fabricants for the AGIS corporation. Being one of the founders allowed her genetics to be introduced into the library for future clones. Many AGIS products share her genetics as well as fabricants created in her likeness both in honor of her as well as to utilize her expansive knowledge.

During her impressive career she was able to create the mind and neurological pathways of modern fabricants. She proposed that the necessary heuristic design for operation of the AGIS stations needed an organic component integrated into the core systems. Opting to undergo the dangerous and highly experimental procedure she was integrated into the station through cybernetic interfaces.

She was able to successfully manage the stations subsystems and utilize her own mind to operate the multiple functions within the station. She has since been cloned and fabricated extensively over many generations resulting in the most advanced genetically engineered life form AGIS has to offer. Her physical attributes are lower than a regular fabricant due to her limited mobility factor however her perception and mental range have been heightened.

Lyra is housed within the central core of each AGIS station and directly connected to the stations systems. This allows her to utilize the sensors and operations of the entire station broadening her perception levels with the instruments throughout the entire system. The Lyra station itself is powered by a singularity reactor which sustains an artificial micro black hole within a suspension field. The incredible power of each reactor allows for the station to be permanently encased in suspension fields as well create artificial gravity for the inhabitants.

The stations controlled environment is contained solely from the suspension fields generated from the reactor and is not designed to ever be powered off. Because of this entry into the station is incredibly secure and the majority of the modules within the station are enclosed and only able to be breached through the use of a unique technology which eventually lead to the creation of the conduit.

Lyra remains attached to the AGIS station and can be found as the living essence of this mobile factory. Creating and seeing to the needs of all her inhabitants. The mother of future generations of products from the company.
