Ikká  grew up with her younger sister Sani ,her older brother Rohit and their two loving and hard working nomad parents in a Martian colony.  Unlike her sister she took after her mother both in looks and personality. Their life took a dramatic turn when the corporation that owned the Martian colony went bankrupt and decided the best thing to do to regain their losses was to turn of the oxygen that supplied the colony with air, and sell the rest.

Ikka and her little family was smuggled out of the facility just in time. But not soon enough for their parents  to survive, giving their lives so their children could continue living.
Rohit took upon himself to do everything to provide for his little family and took a job within the Mars security division. He realized soon enough that he would never make enough credits  to send both of his younger sisters to a good school, Ikka insisted to send off Sani to get a good education.

Only 19 years old Ikka decided to keep on the tradition her parents had given her and kept on traveling from colony to colony trading. On her journey she met another traveling nomad named Elias, they quickly became closer and closer. Their romance came to a quick end on one of their trade routes one september night in the year 2481, when a D'naa clan attacked and stole all of their stock. Elias trying to defend the caravan died right there far out in the desert, and Ikká arm had become severely damaged as well while trying to defend herself. She was nearly done for when luckily another group of nomads came along a few days later, they found Ikka barely alive clinging to the lifeless body of Elias.

The doctors wasn't able to save her arm, and the first few months of recovery she spent with massive phantom pains, coping with the loss of Elias and contemplating if she wanted to get a synthetic arm to replace her lost one. Having made up her mind she spent all her credits to get her arm rebuilt to full capacity ,with some room for future upgrades if she so wished it. There would be another 6 months before she was fully recovered and went back to her nomadic lifestyle.

Not managing to contact her Older brother Rohit, she traveled to the north into the Borealis region in hopes of finding her younger sister Sani. Striking luck she found her younger sister at one of the colonies in the region, but her sister only knew that their brother had been shipped off world somewhere and didn't know whether he was dead or alive even. Then one day her sister got this 'great' offer to join the leading corporation in the region,  VASC.  Ikká, not being very fond of corporation was not too happy about her younger sisters decision ,and despite her efforts and arguments, Sani joined VASC.  

Respecting her younger sisters decision she tried her best to get comfortable with the situation and decided to settle down in the region for the time being to stay with her sister, but refusing to live withing the VASC base with her sister.  She set up a tent for herself on one of the beautiful mountain ridges in the desert, she tries not to think too much about where Rohit is for her own sake but also for her sisters sake. But she hopes deep in her heart that someday she'll know where he really disappeared off too.
