A players reputation represents their standing to each faction and how they're viewed by them, its used as a guidline to help determine how much they love or hate specific character and their actions in RP will effect their standing. If you are of a 80+ standing you will find discounts on their wares and open doors if you are a -80% standing you will find them openly hostile to attacking you on sight. So take care in the decisions you make as they will have a lasting effect.
