Monthly events represents the random encounters and effects that happen on a continual basis. Ranging from natural disasters to epidemics. These events can either be in the crews favor or hinder them. Every month an event is rolled on a 1d30. All monthly events are rolled by the active Commander

12 - Colony Epidemic - a disease or plague has affected the colony, medical checks and cures needed.
13 - Sexism - All males are granted a free trait
14 - Tax Increase - Taxes on ore deposits are increased 25%
15 - Outpost Epidemic - a disease or plague has affected the outpost, medical checks and cures needed.
